The aim of this book is to focus on the clinical topics in cardiology. According to the World Health Organization, cardiovascular disease is the primary cause of death globally. This book consists of 61 chapters. The book includes a wide variety of comprehensive yet concise topics in accordance with contemporary practice. The book also address the more common conditions such as heart failure, atrial fibrillation and coronary artery disease, and also highlight more novel topics that are playing an increasing role in patient management and society as a whole, such as prevention of cardiac disease, cardiac rehabilitation and understanding the athlete’s heart.
