Essentials of Hand Surgery

by Kevin C. Chung

This book “ESSENTIALS OF HAND SURGERY” discusses about the functional anatomy, physiology and biomechanics that underlie the principles of hand. The book is split into three sections: basic principles, emergency hand surgery and elective hand surgery. The first section focuses on the basic principles that underpin hand surgery: the anatomy, imaging studies and fundamentals of treatment. The following two sections emergency hand surgery and elective hand surgery travel through the common conditions of the hand and upper limb. These are organized into those that require emergency surgery and those that are treated on an elective basis. The fundamental principles of hand surgery book will be used by trainees and practicing surgeons to consolidate their knowledge, enabling them to provide treatments that yield optimal outcomes for the patient surgery.
