It has twenty seven chapters and every chapter cover a particular case study of particular clinical condition. Various conditions are caused by deregulation of endocrine glands such as primary ovarian insufficiency, Graves’ disease, vanishing pituitary tumor, secondary hyperparathyroidism, Sheehan’s syndrome, polycystic ovarian syndrome and hyperparathyroidism. Other clinical conditions like Addison’s disease, acromegaly, Cushing’s disease, diabetes insipidus, multiple endocrine neoplasia type 1 and type 2, vitamin D toxicity, diabetes mellitus in hypopituitarism etc. are also thoroughly described with investigations, diagnosis and treatment measures.
