The acute exacerbation varies, the pulmonary exacerbation of sarcoidosis need to be differentiated from the respiratory illness and the hypersensitivity pneumonitis (HP) are classified into acute, subacute, and chronic. Acute HP begins with respiratory and constitutional symptoms; clinicians have a number of tools to manage acute and chronic rejection. The book consists of nine chapters, which explain mainly about the acute exacerbations of COPD, asthma, and idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. Other chapters include information on pulmonary exacerbations in cystic fibrosis and acute pulmonary exacerbations of sarcoidosis. Last three chapters provide detailed information on acute exacerbations of hypersensitivity pneumonitis followed by acute rejection in the lung transplantation recipient and the drug-induced respiratory disease.
