This book is based on the curriculum for medical undergraduates and covers a large number of basic experiments which help the medical students in understanding of theory and practice. The text has been divided into 5 parts. The first part deals with reaction of carbohydrates and protein and urine analysis. The second part deals with specialized tech. and instrumentation. The Third part deals with clinical chemistry and part four deals with metabolic studies. The fifth part-molecular biology. (qualitative analysis; specialized techniques and instrumentation, clinical chemistry metabolic studies, molecular biology) contains eight useful case studies at the end of each clinical chemistry experiment. The book is primarily intended for medical students studying for professional exam. Biochemistry and similar exam. Dental undergraduates student nurses will also find the book useful. The theoretical introduction for each expt. Will give the students a solid foundation for understanding the practical aspects of biochemistry.
